Statewide Open Source ILS Symposium Moved to Bellevue University

Entry Categories: Cataloging   Resource Sharing   Technical Services

We have moved the Statewide Open Source ILS Symposium, scheduled for Thursday, May 22, to Bellevue University in order to accommodate the overwhelming number of registrations.

We invite all Nebraska library staff interested in learning more about open source ILS solutions for libraries to attend the meeting. This new venue will allow more to attend, so please go ahead and register for the event.

This day-long learning opportunity will feature presentations from vendors that support open source solutions for libraries, as well as librarians who are currently responsible for the implementation of shared open source catalogs. It should be a great opportunity to ask questions and explore possibilities!

Speakers will include:

• Bob Molyneaux, Vice President, Business Development, Equinox
• Josh Ferraro, CEO & Marc Roberson, Vice President, Library Partners, LibLime
• Elizabeth McKinney de Garcia, PINES Program Director, Georgia Public Library Service
• Ruth Dukelow, Associate Director, Michigan Library Consortium (MLC)
• Kathy Rippel, Pathfinder Central Manager, Central Kansas Library System

A detailed agenda and link to the online registration form are available online.

If you have any questions about the event, please feel free to email Susan Knisely or Shannon White or call us at 800-307-2665.

We hope to see you on May 22nd at Bellevue University!
