Nebraska Publications Clearinghouse
In 1972 the State Legislature created the Nebraska Publications Clearinghouse, a service of the Nebraska Library Commission. Its purpose is to provide access to and assistance in locating government information for Nebraska citizens, staff of Nebraska libraries and state agencies, and the Nebraska legislature.
State Documents Program
State Documents are collected to ensure that valuable publications are preserved for future generations.
Electronic State Documents
Documents are downloaded or scanned for online access.

Federal documents are selected to support the needs of the Library Commission's customers and the research and development needs of the state.

Links to Frequently Asked Questions on Nebraska topics, State Publications Online, Subject Guide to Nebraska Government, federal, state, county and local government web sites, referring legal questions, etc.
- Resources for Kids
Federal and State government agencies produce information on almost every subject including business, children, other countries, current events, politics, foreign affairs, the environment, medicine, agriculture, science and crime, to name a few. Many sites offer sections for kids.
