Pricing:
Nebraska academic institutions, corporations/government agencies, and
hospitals are being offered discounted pricing on RefWorks and RefShare when
subscribing through the Nebraska Library Commission.
- Academic pricing is based on FTE and covers one year of access to RefWorks
institution-wide. This applies to faculty, staff and all students
affiliated with an educational institute. Institution-wide access
includes direct links to RefWorks from CSA and other database providers as
available as well as your local OPAC.
FTE definition: The FTE level used by RefWorks is based on the Carnegie
Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching
http://www.carnegiefoundation.org/. Full-time equivalent enrollment is
calculated as full-time plus one-third part-time. An alternative source for
FTE figures in case of dispute is Peterson's (see SFDC for link).
- Corporation/government pricing is based on number of users. Access
includes direct links to RefWorks from CSA and other online database providers
as available.
- Hospital pricing is based on size (beds). One year of access to
RefWorks for hospital wide access applies to all staff affiliated with the
hospital. Access includes direct links to RefWorks from CSA or other online
database providers.
